Farrell's Gave Me Back My Strength

I started a desk job two years ago and I fell into sedentary lifestyle. Before my desk job I had many physical labor positions that had helped me to remain physically strong.  November of 2015 I was fed up with my weight gain and I decided I needed to do something about it. I just couldn’t take feeling physically weak any more. I decided  to research the Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping program online.  I am the type of person that needs a structured work out with a program to guide me. I am just not the type of person to go into a gym and work out by myself.  I needed daily instruction and a food plan to go with it! This made the Farrell's program intriguing for me.

I signed up to start Farrell’s on January 9th, 2016.   On my first day of testing I quickly realized just how out of shape I had become. I could only do one push up, just one.  Talk about an eye opener!  This was my own personal humiliation and it was a real downer for me. Once again I knew if I had not spent the money to be , I wouldn’t be. I really didn’t even want to be. Every day for the first two weeks of my journey I asked myself, “What have I gotten myself into?” I laugh at that now but at that time I was more physically challenged then I had ever been in my life. It was hard work but by week five of my 10 weeks my mindset had turned around  I was excited that I had committed to doing this for myself.

At five testing I had lost 10 inches all over, almost 6 pounds and almost 4% of my body fat. But the real testament for me was the fact that I went from 1 push-up to 28 push-ups in one minute and I had doubled the amount of sit ups I could do! I was becoming physically stronger by the day and that’s what mattered the most to me. I have watched people around me grow older and become physically weak and unable to do things for themselves. I don’t want to be that person. I want to always be able to participate in physical activities with my grandchildren .  I always want to be able to take care of myself. By joining Farrell’s I know I will always be capable of doing these things. I am in the best shape of my life and I am loving it!

I finished my 10 weeks with a smile on my face and a much smaller, stronger version of me. I signed up for three more months of classes and I was very pleased with what I have accomplished so far. At the end of the three months I signed up for a full year of classes and I joined the instructor training program. I have become strong enough and confident enough that I want to help lead others on their journey through this program as well. I truly enjoy watching people’s transformations as they go through their own 10 weeks. I cannot imagine my life without Farrell’s in it . To date I have lost 28 inches over all, 22 pounds and 10% of my body fat.

I recommend this program to everyone looking to make a change in themselves. It doesn’t matter if that change is weight loss, living a healthy life style, becoming physically fit or building inner strength. This program will help you do all of these things and keep you going as long as you are committed to it. The nutrition plan is by far the easiest plan I have ever tried! Maybe that’s because any other time I have tried to lose weight my mind set was always about “dieting” and not about making a true life style change in my eating habits. The variety of food you can still eat and the amount of food you can still have is very appealing. Giving up junk food and unhealthy beverages is easy as long as I still get to enjoy them on my cheat day once a week. This makes healthy eating 6 days a week easier. Continuing with the nutrition plan after your 10 weeks will keep the pounds and inches coming off and help maintain these losses as well. The nutrition plan is as important as the work outs. Committing to the entire program will maximize your results and make you the version of you that you want to be. Everyone here is very friendly and non-judgmental. Many members offer help and advice if they see you struggling. They are also quick with words of encouragement and they are never negative. That’s even more reasons why Farrell’s is such a great program!

My hope for anyone reading this, if you are not a member yet, is that you decide to do this for yourself.  Strive every day for a  Live Life at Level 10. The strength and commitment of all of the members inspires me and I know we will all  continue to inspire many more who walk through the FXB doors.
